Last Sunday we took MC for her first spin on the carousel in Balboa Park. I think it might take her a few more rides to get the hang of it. She was very interested in everything though!
MC is a champion crawler now! Still army crawling but she escapes fast!
I put my big girl panties on and took both kiddos to TJs. Now MC is big enough to sit in the cart so it makes it so much easier!

I bought a few splurges for the backyard - it's been so warm like early summer so we've been wanting to play outside. R got a new water table (we'd had our old one for about two years and it had a lot of wear and tear), a new waterproof blankie for MC to hang out on and tons and tons of WATER BALLOONS. Let the spring/summer commence!
MC is made some big strides this week with eating. She likes these little teething wafers and I've been giving her some small bits from our plates. This week she had potatoes, meatloaf, peas, watermelon and banana pieces. So proud of her.
I think the highlight of my week was going with R to his preschool's family dance. The theme was pajamas and pancakes and we had so much fun! Someone's papa is a DJ and he rbought a mini laser show, lots of great records and R and I had yummy pancakes for breakkie. It was so much fun! N was sweet and stayed home with MC as it was a bit late for her, but next year we'll ALL be able to go together!
